"Slippy" is a chubby and gluttnous penguin who lives in Antarctica.
He has been outside, but it is getting dark and the time when he has to go home is coming.
Break ice or dodge the "Polar bear" or "Seal" interuptions using Slippy's over powering skills - jumping and slipping.
Please get him back home by finding the way to the snow house where his girl friend "Sweety" is wating!
[How to play]

(1) When Slippy arrives at snow house, stage is cleared.
(2) If Slippy touched the seal or polar bear, the game is over.
(3) If Slippy falls in the ocean, the game is over as well.
(4) There are 2 types of ice blocks: breaking and unbreaking.
[How to operate Slippy]

By Z key, you make one block jump to the direction Slippy is facing.
But in case there is an ice block above his head, he can't jump. But if there is a breakable ice above his head, he can break it by his head.
Also, he can't jump over the seal and the polar bear.

By X key, you make one block slip to the direction Slippy is facing.
Slip can slip to a place without a scaffold, and during the slip if he hits the breakable ice, he can break it.
And during the slip he can pass through the seal and polar bear.

[Bonus character]
During the game if he breaks a breakable ice, there occasionally appears a bonus character.
As Slippy takes bonus character, bonus points are depending on the kind of the characters.
Bonus character includes chips of ice, ice bars, e.t.c. Look for other kinds of bonus characters!
[Techniques]
ÑThe pass through slip move is only possible if the seal or the polar bear are coming from the foward direction. If the backword direction, the move is not allowed.
ÑUnless you go pass through slip move after drawing as close to your enemies as possible, Slippy might touch them and the game will be over. Be careful!!
ÑThe polar baer is good at breaking ice, and the seal is good at making ice. Let's play the game being aware of their abilities.
[About phase edit]
If you choose PHASE EDIT from title screen, you can edit on the designated phase.
The edited screen is saved in "slippy.map" file, and you can play at any time.
CAUTION!:Unless you make shareware registration, the contents of the edited phase can't be saved.
[Preparation of phase edit]
Before you make phase edit, please do the steps below. Besides, these steps are not necessary if you don't register the shareware registration.
(1) Edit the present mapfile
If there is alreadey the "slippy.map" file in the Slippy folder, that phase will be edited(please make assure whether "slippy.map" is locked or not).
(2) produce a new mapfile
First, move the "slippy.map" which was already prepared, or else change the name.
In case you keep them in several files, you should preserve them in one folder after you changed(when you change the name, please make sure "slippy.map" isn't locked).

After you do the above work, there will be no "slippy.map" file in the Slippy folder. Please run Slippy as it is. And then, a new "slippy.map" file will be created automatically.
[How to edit phase]

If you press the direction keys, editing cursor moves on the screen.
If you push Z/X key, the character is set at the position where the editing cursor is. If you push Z/X key again, the character is changed.
[End of phase edit and save]
After finishing phase edit, push option key. This will automatically save in "slippy.map" file, and return to title screen.

ÑIs the Slippy folder in floppy disk set as read only?
[About the replacement of mapfile]
"slippy.map" kept in Slippy folder can be replaced by another mapfile, and by the replacement of maps those maps can be played and created without limitation. The replacement of maps should be done in the orders below:
ÑMove the "slippy.map" in the same folder as Slippy application originally to another folder, or else change the names.
ÑMake the file name of the new mapfile with which you want to play "slippy.map", and put it in the same folder as the Slippy application.
ÑRun Slippy.
*I recomend that you lock a mapfile which you don't want to edit.
[About the distribution mapfile]
Mapfile can be distributed freely.
